My name is Francesca most people call me Fran. I am in the MAT program at Willamette University. I am student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom in Keizer, Or. I have worked with pre-k in Alaska before starting school. I thought, before the program, that I would like to pursue those ages. Since being in a 2nd grade level class, I have enjoyed it way more than I thought.
Something interesting about me is, I am actually new to the world of reading. I never read for recreation until 2 years ago. I always felt like it took to much time, and I wanted to be doing things, always active. My favorite book - The Little Prince. haha I have to start somewhere right?

Where were you in Alaska? ___ We were in Valdez for our first year (30 feet of snow and dark all winter). I, too was a late reader. Total number of books read in high school and college (undergrad) could be counted on one hand. But I'm an avid reader the past 15 years. Bad teachers? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI was living in Bethel for three years. It was such a great experience! I have never been to Valdez, but I do know a lot of people who have gone to visit. They say its a great spot! Hopefully I will get back up there!
